Gunmen Ambush, Kill 4 Soldiers In Sokoto Gunmen on Saturday night laid an ambush and shot dead four personnel of the Nigerian Army in Gudu local government area, a border community of Sokoto State. Seven other military personnel were wounded as a result of gunshots and currently receiving emergency treatment at the Gudu General Hospital but expected to be referred to the Usmanu Danfodiyo Teaching Hospital, Sokoto for extensive care. The bandits also set ablaze two operational vehicles of the security personnel.
