A brutal assault on the whole street suffered by a woman, accused of having slept with a married man, in this city.



The victim of the attack, Lin Yao Li, aged 38, was beaten and undressed. She was then thrown to the pavement at the look of many people who did not intervene arguing that "she deserved it for sleeping with another woman's husband.

This incident is the last of several who have registered in China, where women have been attacked for messing with married men, a punishment that society seems to pass.

Li was attacked by four women as he walked to his house after shopping in Puyang city in Henan province and after that, the woman was taken to the hospital to be treated with wounds and blows

The story of Lt. William Johnson, pilot of crashed Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress 'Spare Parts'. April 13th 1944. At the junction of the A2070 near the village of Hamstreet , Romney Marsh, Kent, stands a modest memorial commemorating the crash of a Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress and the death of its pilot, Lt William H Johnson.
