This is the astonishing moment a woman strips naked and goes on a five-minute rampage through a grocery store - smearing cake all over her body.

The woman, who has not been identified, was caught on tape destroying the food section of the store while employees stood by helpless

At the bakery section the woman picks up cakes in plastic boxes, opens them up before throwing them into a heap on the floor.

A male store worker looks on, observing the trail of devastation and says 'we can't do anything, the cops are on their way.'

It is the latest disturbing incident as states and cities such as San Francisco battle lawlessness, as well as spikes in homelessness, drug use and mental illness.

The woman is seen taking a tray of cake out of its casing and smearing it down the front of her body before throwing it to the ground. 

She then strews several cupcakes across the store before stepping onto the cakes.

The video also shows a series of smashed beer bottles on the ground that appear to have been part of the damage.

HelOnce behind the counter the rampage continues with the woman smothering her hair and legs with white cake frosting.

The woman then moves over to the donut shelf and throws as many as she can to the ground. It is not clear where the incident took place or when it occurred.
