Life in the slow lane! Sleepy workers stop for a nap on busy highway in China as traffic zooms past



Of all the spots to choose for a mid-afternoon nap, the middle of a lane on a busy highway is hardly ideal.

But it clearly appealed to these sleepy labourers in China, who downed tools and lay flat out on the tarmac in Chongqing yesterday.
While safety does not appear to be high on these men's priority list, they did use their vehicle to block the lane in front of them in a bid to avoid being hit by oncoming cars as they slept.Perhaps the heat got to the men, who had been working nearby in Chongqing, where temperatures soared above 35C this week.

The Weirdest Marriage in the World was in the 80's. Started when Swiss Corina Hoffman visited Kenya. Hofmann and her boyfriend Marco made a trip to Kenya. There, she met a Samburu wàrrior named Lketinga Leparmorijo and instantly found him irresistible. She left Marco, went back to Switzerland to sell her possessions, and, in 1987, returned to Kenya, determined to find Lketinga, which she eventually did. Technology of war in 1914 The planning and conduct of war in 1914 were crucially influenced by the invention of new weapons and the improvement of existing types since the Franco-German War of 1870–71.
